Frequently Asked Questions

We deliver worldwide using one of the most reliable and fast shipping methods. All orders are shipped using FEDEX international priority.

Products are made and shipped from our atelier in Seoul, Korea. Shipping typically takes 2 to 5 days worldwide, depending on destination.

Shipping is FREE when you spend over $100.

There will be no additional costs upon delivery – taxes and duties are included in all product prices.

Depending on the design you have chosen, your order may take up to 5 to 12 business days to prepare. Once your parcel ships, we will send a confirmation email with tracking information.

Although we have made it easy, transit times may vary due to customs delays in certain countries/regions. If you're having trouble with your order, please don't hesitate to contact us at info@alyssthelabel.com

Orders that are not received by the recipient and therefore sent back will be deducted a shipping fee.


This rarely happens but we are not responsible for packages that may become lost in transit. Locating the package is the recipient's responsibility. We will, however, do everything in our power to assist you.  

It is the responsibility of the customer to track their package and monitor its status. If delivery was made without signature in your favor, we cannot guarantee for the lost or damaged.

Please note, It is the customer's responsibility to locate their package if they have entered an incorrect shipping address or contact number. 

Alyssa is a jewelry atelier in Seoul, Korea. All of our jewelry is handcrafted.

As all handmade jewelry pieces are delicate, handle with care. We only use natural freshwater pearls and real gemstones besides certain beads. Natural light blemishes, spots, irregularity of pearls and gemstones are not considered defects.

• Pearls are organic gems that require careful daily care. They are sensitive to moist and sweat. Contact with cosmetics and chemicals will lead to deterioration, discoloration, and loss of shine.
• Rubbing will damage pearls so please store separately in its pouch or box.
• If you feel any allergic symptoms other any other skin problems, immediately stop wearing and consult a dermatologist.
• Handle with care as impact can break or chip or damage the pearls and gems.
• Do not pull or tug strongly as it may cause damage or stretch the thread / wire.
• Some of our pieces use wire instead of thread to retain a specific shape.
Please do not intentionally fold or bend your jewelry as it will be difficult to return to its original shape/position.
• Avoid contact with sunscreen, lotion, perfume, and products with harsh chemicals. Avoid excessive makeup, humidity, and sweat.
• Remove jewelry when working out, showering, bathing, and swimming.
• Try not to wear your jewelry in the sea as salt can also tarnish your jewelry.
• Gently rub with a dry cloth to clean your jewelry. We recommend cotton or microfiber cloth. Do not use liquids, chemical solutions, and water.
• Ultrasonic cleaner should never be used with your jewelry.
• All care advice apply to all materials including gemstones, beads, brass / silver.

Due to the unique nature of our handmade made-to-order products we do not accept returns or exchanges on any of our items.

Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Natural scratches, blemishes, imperfections on beads or pearls are not considered flaws.

We have a 7 day return policy for defective items. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. Please include its original warranty card. We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of wear.

We will send you a prepaid shipping label and instructions on how to and where to send your package.

All our pieces are made-to-order. By manufacturing your piece after you've placed your order, we can avoid accumulating unnecessary stock and reduce waste during production.

At Alyssa, we strive to use recycled brass and silver as much as we can. We do not use plastic in our packaging. Jewelry pouches and storage boxes are made to last a long time. All outer packaging materials can be recycled.

Our inspiration comes from nature. The majority of our materials are organic. We are against using imitation/acrylic pearls used in fast fashion.

We try to source a big portion of our materials from old or deadstock.

We care about our earth and hope to become a more sustainable brand as we move forward. 1% of our sales profit goes to 'one percent for the plant'. Find out more information on https://www.onepercentfortheplanet.org/

Pearls and gemstones are soft and are highly susceptible to damage.

After some time, your jewelry may require restringing or replacements of metal parts. This does not apply to the fading, tarnishing, discoloration and damages from wear.
